Lorde has announced that she will perform at the O2 Academy Brixton later this year.
The ‘Royals‘ singer will play a show at the iconic London venue on Friday 6th June. The show will be the singer’s first UK performance since she collaborated with Disclosure at the BRIT Awards in February.
Tickets are priced at £24 and will be available tomorrow (Wednesday 23rd) from 10am through an exclusive fan presale, while general release tickets go on sale on Saturday (26th) at 10am.
The 17-year-old shot to fame last year with her single ‘Royals’ which topped the charts in more than 10 countries and earned her a Grammy Award for best solo pop performance. In 2013 she also released her critically acclaimed debut album, Pure Heroine.
Earlier today, she was forced to announce the cancellation of her Australian tour due to ill health. The eight date tour was due to begin on Thursday but is now expected to be rescheduled to November.
