Scot-rock legends, Biffy Clyro, make another appearance atop the headlining hierarchy of festivals, following their spellbinding appearance at Reading & Leeds last year. The normally sleepy Isle of Wight welcomes the world famous trio with open arms, a band that has sold over 1,200,000 albums and 400,000 singles in the UK alone, and show no sign of lessening their intense passion for music any time soon

Comprised of Simon Neil (guitar and lead vocals), James Johnston (bass), and Ben Johnston (drums), the three-piece hit mainstream success in 2007 with their fourth album Puzzle, which peaked at number 2 in the UK album charts. Ever since then there has been no looking back for the band, having gone from strength to strength over the last 7 years. Winning an NME award for best British band, and being nominated for both a Mercury Music Prize and a Brit Award, has all led to the band gaining a core cult following of all age ranges. Their dedication to music is profound and, having formed in 1995, their longevity is undeniable. Perhaps the destiny of their main musical influence, and this years Glastonbury headliners, Metallica, will ring true for Biffy too. All we can say for now is ‘Mon the Biffy!’
