Lily Allen has announced that she will perform at Glastonbury in 2014.
Talking to Nick Grimshaw on the BBC Radio One Breakfast Show, Allen broke the news, saying her place at the festival was confirmed yesterday.
Lily Allen is the first act to have been announced for the 2014 festival, which sold out in October.
The singer was at number two in the UK singles chart on Sunday with her cover of Keane’s ‘Somewhere Only We Know’ for the John Lewis advert. Meanwhile, she is expected to chart again this weekend with her official single ‘Hard Out Here‘.
While talking on BBC Radio One, she also announced that she is in the process of planning for a tour, which is due to kick off in 2014.
Glastonbury will take place from 25th to 29th June 2014.
