In April, Bruce Jenner came out to the world as a transgender individual in a two hour sit-down with Diane Sawyer. The emotional interview set the world buzzing as to what the reality star would do next.
In May, the 65-year old shared the difficult conversations about her transitioning stage with her daughters and ex-wife Kris Jenner in an About Bruce special of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Jenner is now ready to introduce herself as Caitlyn. Posing for the first time in a shoot by iconic photographer, Annie Leibovitz, Caitlyn appears on the latest cover of Vanity Fair. In the issue, Jenner also speaks to acclaimed writer Buzz Bissinger about her female identity, which she felt she had to hide for years.
Jenner opened up to Bissinger about the tension and drama that followed her reveal, as well as her own personal journey into womanhood. Speaking candidly, Jenner stated: “If I was lying on my deathbed and I had kept this secret and never ever did anything about it, I would be lying there saying, ‘You just blew your entire life’.”
Taking to her brand new Twitter account, Caitlyn tweeted, “I’m so happy after such a long struggle to be living my true self. Welcome to the world Caitlyn. Can’t wait for you to get to know her/me.”
Fans eager to see the former Olympian’s new life can tune in to an eight-part documentary series, which premieres 26th July on E!
