Taylor Swift has surprised fans with the news that a live concert film of her 1989 World Tour is set to launch exclusively on Apple Music later this month, just in time for Christmas.
The singer first announced the news on Twitter on Sunday (13th December), thanking her fans for birthday wishes before revealing a minute-long trailer for the concert film.
Filmed in Sydney, Australia at the ANZ Stadium on 28th November, the film will showcase Swift’s entire performance – complete with exclusive backstage footage and behind-the-scenes access, including rehearsals with some of the many musical guests that joined Swift throughout her tour.
After eight months on the road, Swift completed her 1989 World Tour with a final date in Melbourne on Saturday (12th December). The singer has also recently caused controversy after filing applications to trademark several phrases pertaining to her latest album, including the terms ‘1989’, ‘Swiftmas’ and ‘Blank Space.’
The 1989 World Tour LIVE will be available exclusively on Apple Music from Sunday 20th December.
