Teasing their fans via Facebook and Twitter, indie trio Little Comets have released ‘Little Italy’, the lead track from their new EP, The Gentle EP.
Following In Search of Elusive Little Comets (2011) and Life is Elsewhere (2012), fans have been eager to see some new material, especially as the band have some upcoming tour dates for this year, starting in Manchester on 5th February.
Lead vocalist, Robert Coles, wrote in the band’s blog: “We’ve decided to release a physical copy of the EP – something we’ve never tried before and possibly won’t do again (it’s nice to have a one-off). We are going to personalise each copy and have limited it to a number with no hidden meaning – 300”.
The Gentle EP is to be released on 23rd February 2014. Listen to the lead track below.
