Singer-songwriter, Sam Smith, has unveiled the video for ‘Leave Your Lover’. The track is the latest slice to be taken from Smith’s upcoming debut album, In the Lonely Hour.
The video, which features Daisy Lowe, was directed by Luke Monaghan and follows his relationship with two friends with a melancholic tone.
Sam Smith originally rose to fame as a result of featuring on Disclosure’s hit, ‘Latch’. Following this, Smith won the BRIT Critics’ Choice Award this year. The English singer has also secured a number one with ‘Money on My Mind’ and his recent single, ‘Stay With Me’, is likely to follow the same fate this weekend after topping this week’s midweek charts.
In the Lonely Hour is due for release Monday 26th May.
