The organisers of London festival Field Day – next year a two day event for the first time – have unveiled more acts for the 2014 line up, following the annoucement that Pixies would headline the Sunday.
Electro-pop quartet Metronomy – whose fourth album, Love Letters, is released in March – have been announced as Saturday headliners. Supporting them is singer-songwriter Sky Ferreira and Mercury prize nominee Jon Hopkins. Los Angeles based all-female outfit Warpaint have also been confirmed.
Others added to the Saturday bill include Daniel Avery, Danny Brown, Dusky, George Fitzgerald, Innervisions: Dixon & Ame, James Holden, Jessy Lanza, John Wizards, Omar, Souleyman, Oneohtrix Point Never, Seun Kuti & Fela’s Egypt 80 and The Temper Trap.
The event is held from 7-8 June at Victoria Park, London, with many acts still to be announced.
