Game of Thrones and The Night Manager dominate 2016 Emmy nominations


The nominations for this year’s Primetime Emmy awards have been announced with shows such as Game of Thrones and The Night Manager dominating several categories.

Seven shows are competing for the title of Best Drama Series this year, including Game of Thrones, Mr Robot, Downton Abbey, House of Cards, The Americans, Homeland and Better Call Saul.

Meanwhile, the shows dominating the Best Limited Series categories are The Night Manager, Fargo, American Crime, The People v. OJ Simpson and Roots. BBC crime dramas Luther and Sherlock are also nominated in the category for Best TV Movie.
